Description
Fire Hydrant System
Fire Hydrant system is an effective and efficient means of extinguishing large fires, which can otherwise cause devastation. Hydrant system enables the fire fighter to attack the seat of the fire from a distance. Hydrant valves are outlets for delivering water with tremendous pressure so as to quench the fire. With discreet use of special branch pipe the water under pressure can also be used as a “sheet” to push the smoke for entering a burning building.
Sprinkler System
The automatic sprinkler and fire alarm system shall be designed to extinguish a fire in its early stages by the use of water and simultaneously sounding an alarm to summon help. Pipe work fitted with sprinklers at regular intervals is connected to a reliable water supply. Each sprinkler is an automatic heat sensitive valve, which opens independently in the event of fire to discharge water on to the seat of the outbreak. Only the sprinkler or sprinklers affected by fire operate, and the opening of anyone sprinkler immediately sounds an alarm.
Area of Application: Commercial Buildings, Residential Apartments, Industrial Sector, Hospitals & Hotels. Etc.
Approvals: NBC, TAC, IS, FM, NFPA, and Local Fire Authorities
Gas Based System
FM200 System
In addition to fire detection and alarm systems, organizations that have a dedicated server / rack rooms should have minimum gas suppression systems. The different types of gas suppression systems available are CO2, NAF SIII, FM 200 and Inergen.
In a typical system the extinguishing agent is typically stored in cylinders or spheres. It is delivered to distribution nozzles through a system piping network.
Critical to the functioning of the system is the fire detection and control network. Typically smoke detectors sense the presence of fire in the protected facility. The detection and control panel then sounds an alarm, shuts down air handlers and disconnects power from the protected equipment (optional) and releases agent into the protected area.
Conventional Fire Alarm
Early detection of fires can prevent major catastrophes protecting valuable assets and saving lives. This predicates high reliability and rapid response time as critical requirements in Fire Alarm Panels. Hence, it is natural for customers to demand reliable, rugged and maintenance-free fire alarm panels.
The mission of a fire control system is to protect life, property and resources from hazardous scenarios like fire, explosion chemical spill or even radiation. It becomes a herculean task to identify and suppress a fire in real time for any organization without a perpetual fire monitoring and detection system.
Powerful and proactive CFAP (Conventional Fire Alarm Panel) used to continuously monitor smoke, heat, flame or spark in the immediate vicinity of an office, building, apartment, home or small industrial plant. It is fully geared to identify the smallest spark accurately, and is vital in critical situations for providing a real time response and thus reducing the risk of equipment damage and loss of life.
Addessable Fire Control System
We specialize in designing conventional as well as addressable type of Fire Alarm & Detection System for small / medium / large commercial / industrial establishments including high rise buildings, hotel, hospitals and corporate business houses. We provide addressable and conventional fire alarm system.
Addressable fire alarm systems offer benefits in speed of detection, identification of the location of a fire and easier maintenance. Addressable fire alarm systems also offer tolerance to faults in the system wiring, which allows a single pair of wires to be used to connect up to 200 devices & more to the system, allowing cost savings in the wiring of large systems. In larger installations, the benefits of improved maintenance and reduced cabling cost are overwhelming. The price difference between Addressable systems and conventional systems has narrowed to such an extent that even for small installations, the use of an Addressable fire alarm system should be considered.
Facility operating costs continue to skyrocket, seemingly out of control. Driven by rising costs from energy usage, environmental compliance, labor and poor-performing building assets, facility managers are seeking immediate relief – as well as solutions that will help them contain costs over the life of the facility. Integrated building management systems (Ibms) are one important solution. the benefits of teamwork to a business are well established, and enabling tight interoperability between facility operational systems (such as HVACs, lighting, life safety, security and energy management) with industry standard open protocols, can deliver substantial savings in operational and energy costs. for example, the sharing of common occupancy and scheduling of lighting, HVACs and security systems would improve the energy efficiency of a building and increase the productivity of the operator because a single scheduling engine is used instead of setting individual schedules in multiple systems. Common occupancy scheduling drives proper building systems behavior, making sure that the area is secured, lights are off and HVACs systems are in setback mode for optimum energy savings.
Conventional CCTV System
With analogue CCTV the picture is composed of TV lines instead of individual pixels. Most systems use a DVR to record its images; this offers a more cost effective solution for small to medium size properties. One drawback however to this is a slight drop in image quality with cabling distance also a factor.
These systems have been around for many years and have proven reliable. We still install many analogue systems every year.
IP CCTV Systems
IP based cameras are the future. They work by turning images and audio into data then transmitting this data over a local area network or Internet connection. The main benefit of this over the original analogue CCTV systems is greater flexibility, better performance and easier installation. IP CCTV has been available for many years now, but only in the last few years has that technology matured, leading to the developments in Megapixel IP.
Physical access control is a matter of who, where, and when. An access control system determines who is allowed to enter or exit, where they are allowed to exit or enter, and when they are allowed to enter or exit. Historically, this was partially accomplished through keys and locks. When a door is locked, only someone with a key can enter through the door, depending on how the lock is configured. Mechanical locks and keys do not allow restriction of the key holder to specific times or dates. Mechanical locks and keys do not provide records of the key used on any specific door, and the keys can be easily copied or transferred to an unauthorized person.
When a credential is presented to a reader, the reader sends the credential’s information, usually a number, to a control panel, a highly reliable processor. The control panel compares the credential’s number to an access control list, grants or denies the presented request, and sends a transaction log to a database. When access is denied based on the access control list, the door remains locked. If there is a match between the credential and the access control list, the control panel operates a relay that in turn unlocks the door. The control panel also ignores a door open signal to prevent an alarm. Often the reader provides feedback, such as a flashing red LED for an access denied and a flashing green LED for an access granted.
Intrusion Detection System
Burglar (or intrusion), alarms are systems designed to detect unauthorized entry into a building or area. They consist of an array of sensors, a control panel and alerting system, and interconnections.
Sensors detect intruders by many methods such as monitoring door and window contacts, by passive infrared motion detectors, ultrasound, vibration, electric or magnetic fields, or microwaves. Sensors may be directly wired to a control panel that provides sensor power, or may communicate wirelessly.
Burglar alarms (or perimeter security systems, perimeter detection systems, Perimeter protection, intrusion detection systems and other terms for the same thing) are used in residential, industrial, and commercial properties for protection against theft or property damage. Mobile alarm systems protect vehicles and their contents (“car alarms”).
Prisons and military facilities use intrusion detection systems for security and control of access. There are hundreds of alarms monitoring companies providing real-time monitoring services for varieties of users on monthly contractual obligations.
This system is used for general public announcement and playing soft music in the office premises/malls etc . This system can be integrated with Fire Alarm System so that in case of Fire emergency the amplifier stops the music and then evacuation announcement can be done. The well designed public address system helps the evacuation of people in the systematic manner. The next generation PA system is IP based system.
